YouTube

Speaking too much.

What’s the last thing you bought?

Toilet paper.

What did you dream about last night?

Kristen [Stewart].

Thousands of dollars.

Fill in the blank: When I was 17, I was ____________.

So much cooler because I knew less about myself.-я знаю,старое,можете не говорить,но остальные я не читала)
When was your first kiss?

I was young, actually, maybe like third or fourth grade. It was during Truth or Dare between one of my guy friends and two of our girlfriends. The girls would put their lip balm on — I was obsessed with it! The flavors were chocolate, caramel, and strawberry (that one just took my breath away!)

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Lucky Justin Timberlake has Jessica Biel. I think she would just be the coolest girl to hang out with.

What’s a girl fashion trend that confuses you?

The dress with jeans. If it’s a dress, wear a dress; show your legs!

What’s the chick flick you secretly love?

I really loved Tristan and Isolde and Atonement.

What’s your TV guilty pleasure?

Judge Judy. I’m obsessed with it. I’ll wake up every morning, hop in the shower, and turn my TV around to watch it. My brother will knock on the door, say ‘You still in the shower?’ And I’ll be like, ‘Yeah, yeah, this is a good one!’

Who would play you in the movie version of your life?

I love those kids on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. I remember when they were little they looked like they were having so much fun just being kids. And that’s how I was growing up and how I try to be. So I think it’d be them.

What’s your dream job?

I want to fly a jet. I’d love to just be in the air and go mach 3 or mach 4. Or, I’d be an underwater salvager. I’ve always been fascinated with the Bermuda Triangle and Atlantis. I love chemistry, also. That’s why acting is so random for me!

If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?

I’d probably trade with George W. Bush just because Area 51 has been my biggest pet peeve. I just want to know all the secrets. I just have to know everything. Even when a girlfriend cheats on me, I’ll find a way to get all the info out.

Who in your family are you closest to?

My 26-year-old brother Brandon. We’re best friends. When we were younger, he’d get his phone confiscated and be like, “Kellan, bring me yours!” And it’d be like midnight and I’m sliding it down the hallway to him. He took advantage of me but the roles switched when I got older. He was a senior when I was a freshman. And he was like, “Kellan, you’re cool now. Let’s hang out.” He brought me to the parties and I was like the cool young Lutz.

What’s your favorite Website?

Addictinggames.com. I love it because there are so many simple games that you just feel so cool when you beat them. I’m so strategic. I love Command & Conquer games.

What’s the fast food you can’t live without?

Sonic. I’m so mad that there’s none in LA. I go back to Arizona and the first thing I do when I get off the plane is go to Sonic.

What’s your worst habit?

Betting. I bet on everything. I’ve never really bought scratch cards or quick picks. It’s just like, “I bet you I can spin my chair longer.” I love to win. I don’t get mad when I don’t win, but I don’t think it’s fun.

What’s the last song you listened to on your iPod?

I don’t know who sings it, and I’m not going to sing!

What’s the last thing you bought?

A thousand dollars worth of clothes, which is ridiculous. I went shopping the other day. And I just got the new Samsung Instinct phone. I think it just beat the iPhone. I knew I was coming out to New York and I suck at the subways but this has GPS. So I figured I’d get the phone. I still get lost, but it’s cool.

What did you dream about last night?

I was watching “World’s Wildest Police Chases” and I dreamed that I designed this one gadget called the Cop Stopper. I just moved the cop cars out of the way.

How much money is in your wallet right now?

I actually took a lot here. I got rent from my roommates so I have all the rent money here. I took it with me so I wouldn’t have to go to the bank because I can never find them. So I just brought a big stack of hundreds.

Fill in the blank: When I was 17, I was ____________.

Getting in trouble with my older brother.
How old were you when you had your first kiss?

“It was sometime in junior high. I don’t remember what year, but it was definitely in junior high. I think it was just with a random girl from school. I mean, it’s not like I walked up to her and was like ‘You’re just a random girl and I’m going to kiss you,’ but just a girl from school, and we had a little thing in junior high.”

What’s the girl fashion trend that confuses the heck out of you?

“I have one that sometimes I don’t understand and sometimes I think is really cute: leg warmers. Sometimes it looks really awkward, like Why are you wearing those? and sometimes it’s like, that’s pretty cute. Maybe it’s the girl or has something to do with wearing them on a sunny day. Like when it’s California weather and it’s 90 degrees, you don’t need to be wearing them. Maybe that’s the answer: The fashion trend I don’t understand — leg warmers when it’s 90 degrees out!”

What’s the chick flick you secretly love?

“It’s definitely girly: The Notebook. And A Walk to Remember.”

What’s your TV guilty pleasure?

“One thing I watch off the hook because it’s on every single night up here [in Vancouver] and I usually can’t find it in the States that much is Dog: The Bounty Hunter.”

Who would play you in the movie version of your life?

“Everybody else always says Johnny Depp, but I wouldn’t mind Brad Pitt or Matt Damon. When people ask me whose career I’d want to have, I say Matt Damon. I love the Bourne series.”

If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be?

Brian Austin Green, because he gets to date Megan Fox!

Who in your family are you closest to?

“My sister because she looks up to me, but I also look up to her in a way. She’s younger, she’s only 10, so I’m probably going to be one of those brothers who are watching her with boys, which she’s probably not going to like too much.”

What’s your favorite Web site?

“I’m not on the computer that much, but I used to go to this Web site called addictinggames.com. It has the coolest games and a lot of variety, so whenever I was bored, I would just go on that.”

Are you on Team Jacob? Play the Edward vs. Jacob game now!

What’s your worst habit?

“I bounce my knees, but I do not have restless leg syndrome. I did an interview, I don’t even know who it was with, and they said I told them I have restless leg syndrome and it distracts me from my work. I do not have any syndrome. I actually have many friends [like me] who just bounce their knees.”

Being that you have tons of screaming fans, is it easy for you to talk to girls?

“[Laughs] Oh, I definitely wouldn’t say I overcame that. I guess it just depends on the girl. Sometimes I’ll feel free to completely open up, and I wish I could do that more often because that’s what I look for in a girl. Someone that can open up and be herself, but no, I definitely haven’t overcome it completely.”

What’s the last song you listened to on your iPod?

“It was actually a techno song. I listen to them to get pumped up on set.”

What’s the last thing you bought?

“Last night’s steak [dinner].”

What did you dream about last night?

“I don’t remember. I never remember my dreams.”

How much money is in your wallet right now?

“I don’t have a wallet with me.”

What’s a relationship deal breaker for you?

“If a girl doesn’t know how to smile or laugh or if they try to play cool all the time. Playing hard to get is not the way to win me over. I’m definitely more for the girl who can smile and laugh all the time and just have a good time!”

Do you play any instruments?

“I’ve always kind of had an interest in the drums but nothing else. The drums are the only thing I feel I would be good at, because I’m a very physical person. I’ve always played sports and stuff. Drums would give me something to do.”

Fill in the blank: When I look back at 17, I’ll remember…

“Being on the set filming New Moon or Eclipse, because both of them occur while I’m 17. And New Moon has definitely been a blast so far, with the whole cast and crew. That’s definitely going to be it.”
Her First Attraction to Bella

“I think it was the fact that she could hold her own against Edward, because it’s a strange dynamic that they have. I think people relate to her just because she’s got conviction.”

Before the TwiMania

“It started out just like any other job I’ve ever done. I don’t like to get excited about something until I’ve gotten to live through it.”

The Payoff

“I’m glad to be a part of something that’s actually bigger than me for once. The success of it is the coolest thing ever because I can’t tell you how much it hurts to do something that you feel like you can really learn from — and you feel is an important section of your life that you put everything into — and then nothing, it just never comes out. So the fact that we can share that, that’s why we do this. It’s the coolest thing.”

Stalked by the Paparazzi

“It is kind of annoying, I can’t really go out. Not because of [fans]–it’s the people whose jobs it is to follow you. But it’s okay, because I’m kind of boring. I’d rather stay at home. I read a lot and I play guitar. I have to play a lot of guitar right now especially because I’m doing the movie. I don’t know. It’s not that bad actually.”

Eternal Love

“If people don’t understand why Bella and Edward should be together by New Moon, then they shouldn’t get it.”
Her New Moon Escape
“It got really overwhelming when we wrapped the second film with publicity. Having people wait outside of my house sort of gives me a panic attack. I’m a believer in the concept that people should not be followed and photographed everywhere. I decided to leave for a little while, and it turned into a two-month vacation in Greece!”

Missing Out on Vancouver
“We got to really enjoy and explore Portland because we were a little bit more discreet [than we are now]. Shooting the second film was a game of hide-and-seek where we couldn’t go without being followed and looked at.”

Kristen & Nikki Chill Time
“Music is a big part of our lives. She plays guitar, and I learned how to play guitar. About a year ago, we went guitar shopping. She picked out my guitar with me. It was fun. So we play, we just sit around and jam.”

The Real Rosalie
“I think the voting scene was my favorite because it was very heartfelt and [director] Chris Weitz was very open with me playing with my dialogue, and I gave a really, I think, heartfelt speech at the end of that. It gave me the opportunity for the first time to show that Rosalie’s not just a crazy nasty person, she’s got a soul, and she genuinely cares about her brother and her family and the safety of everyone.”

Nikki’s Rebellious Act
“We were shooting at night at the end of filming, and the night I wrapped finished shooting at 9 in the morning. Kristen and I decided that we were going to go back to someone’s place, and everyone ended up coming, and we had this sort of crazy party in the morning.”

First Impressions
“The first time I met Jackson [Rathbone] was on the flight to Portland, and he had his guitar and his glasses, and I was thinking to myself, Oh boy, another introverted musician/actor. [Laughs] And I don’t really know what I thought of Rob. My opinion of Rob has always sort of been the same. He’s a great guy, he’s really talented, [but] we’re not as close as the rest of the cast.”

African Safari Adventure
“Kristen and [ex-boyfriend] Michael [Angarano] and I spent every day together, without a distraction, without a computer, without a phone, without a moment to [ourselves]. And we all stayed in the same tent, because I was supposed to stay in a different one, but obviously I got scared.”

Why She’s on Team Jacob
“I’m the only one of the cast members that’s Team Jacob, but I am. And that’s because I feel like a bit older than everybody else, and I feel like part of being a kid is having the mentality that Bella has with Edward, which is I’m willing to sacrifice my family and my life, literally my life for this person, because he’s my everything. She’s consumed by him. And for me, that’s never been healthy. I’ve done that before, and I really do take these books seriously. I look at them as being very metaphorical, and for me, Jacob is the one. He’s the right one for her. He’s her friend, he loves her unconditionally, and she doesn’t have to sacrifice anything for him. Relationships are, of course, about compromise, but I don’t think they’re about giving up a part of your life for somebody.”

Forbidden Love vs. Simple Love
“I think so many young girls get caught up in the challenge of being with somebody who’s dangerous, who’s bad, who’s enticing, who’s all of those things, and you forget what it’s like to enjoy simple love.”

Setting the Record Straight
“I can’t win, even if I say something relatively bland. A few weeks ago I was at this event, and they said, ‘You missed Rob’s birthday, how do you feel?’ And I said, ‘I called him, it’s fine.’ And they wrote, ‘She’s clearly bitter over the breakup.’ I’m like, what breakup? Rob and I were never together.”
Whether you’re on Team Edward or Team Jacob, there’s no denying that whenever Emmett’s on the screen, you pretty much forget all about them! Twilight Saga hottie Kellan dished to Seventeen on his weirdest fan moment, on-set eating habits, and which Twilight character he’d most likely date.

One of His Easiest Jobs Ever

“It all starts with the director, obviously, he kind of reigns the parade. [Chris Weitz] was so organized, he had everything so put together that he gave us all packets before we started the movie about how he saw the shots being and the locations, and he wrote his vision for it. So being actors, all of us come in, and it was like having a sсript for a movie and a sсript for how to do the movie.”

Returning On-Set Pranks

“The girls can’t prank us! They’re great actresses, but they don’t really have the imagination to push a boy’s buttons. Not much gets to us.”

His Weirdest Fan Moment

“This one woman brought handcuffs, and she’s like, ‘Would you mind if I handcuffed myself to you?’ and I was like, ‘Uh, now I would!’ You really can’t just say, ‘Hey, is it all right if I shoot you?’ If you’re robbing a bank, you can’t ask them, you just do it. So I kind of bit my tongue on that one, because I was like, ‘Next time just throw the handcuffs on! Don’t ask!’”

Church Buddies

“I knew Jackson already. His mom and my mom are really close friends in the church, so my mom was like ‘Oh, I’m so glad you’ve got a good Christian boy to work with!’”

Transforming Into a Vampire

“Half of us don’t even like to sleep. We see it as a waste of time. So that’s very vampire-like of us.”

If the Entire Cast Did Get in a Fight… <---LOVE THIS!

"I'd beat everyone, even Taylor, no doubt. If they all tried to jump me, they might have a chance. Rob can slap pretty hard though."

Character He’d Most Likely Date

“I love Rosalie’s sassiness. I love someone who tries to boss me around. And I love the pixie of Alice. So if there was a mix of the two, that’s who I’d date. And I’ve actually dated girls just like that.”

His Signature Sub

“When I’m at craft services, I make the BEST-tasting, 10-layer meat and cheese sandwich with no bread. It’s five different types of meat, three pieces of turkey, then provolone cheese, then three pieces of ham, then American cheese, then three pieces of turkey, then a chicken cutlet! Then I put chicken salad on top of that, and I finish it off with Swiss cheese, then honey mustard. I’d just be walking around with this huge sandwich, it was so good!”

Team Edward or Team Jacob?

“Team Emmett! Bella and I goof around in the books so much [that] it’s fate…fifth book coming up!”
eating Up Between Scenes

“Usually it’s freezing outside [in Vancouver, where New Moon was filmed]. Most of the time I’m not really wearing many clothes, so as soon as I’m done filming, I will go into a heated tent and bundle myself up in a lot of clothes and just try to stay warm until I have to go back and get naked again and film.”

His New Physique

“Jacob increasingly grows throughout the series, so as soon as I’m done with this I’m going to start working again. Maybe put on a little bit more weight, but when the series is done, I’m definitely going to lean out a bit and not be as bulky.”

Shaking It Up

“At one point, my body fat was really, really low, and we needed to increase it to be able to put muscle on, so my trainer was like, go to McDonald’s, get the biggest shake possible just so we can pack on 1,000 calories.”

Chilling on Set

“When I had downtime on set, which was not often, I would be walking around and hanging out with the crew. I would just be all over the place. I’d be in the hair and makeup trailer, I’d be in the grips’ trailer, I’d be everywhere, because I really loved the crew on this set.”

Taylor’s Favorite Book Is…

“I would probably have to say Eclipse. I love that all three of them (Edward, Bella, and Jacob) are together. Twilight sets up Edward and Bella’s relationship, New Moon sets up Jacob and Bella’s, and Eclipse is about the three of them. Just the constant tension going on between Jacob and Edward is hilarious, and Bella’s being drawn between the two guys.”

In His Pocket

“I usually always have my iPod with me. It’s a black iPod Touch. My music taste changes so much, it’s all across the board. It never stays the same!”

Jacob’s Flaw

“There’s not a lot, because I really do like him. But the only thing, and this is what all the fans would say, is in Eclipse, when he pushes himself onto Bella and forces her to kiss him. That wasn’t such a good move, but it’s okay — it’s one mistake, and he learned from it.”

His Idol

“I’ve always looked up to Denzel Washington as an actor. I love Man on Fire, with Dakota [Fanning]!

Getting Jacob’s Height

“It’s just little tricks: There’s camera angles, there’s different sized platforms like up on a hill…just little things, and they help.”

Stunt Work

“It was awesome! I got to do almost all of my own stunts. I love the stunts, so to be able to have that opportunity was incredible. The transformation [scenes] were really cool because they put me up on wires, and I would run and take a big leap in the air and be swung 10 feet in the air, sometimes even higher. And then they would jerk me so I’d have to stop and hold a pose. And that was so they could do the CGI, where they take my body and transform it into the wolf’s.”
